That ending more than anything else is why I have a real soft spot for GT. When I first read the DBZ manga and got to the end with Uub, I was not a happy camper. Then when I saw GT I felt a lot better, even if Toriyama didn't write it we at least got a more fitting end to the series IMHO with another Son taking on the mantle (no disrespect to Uub fans  ). I'm also a big fan of Omega Shenron and bringing back 17, plus I liked the idea that abusing the Dragon Balls had negative consequences. Also, seeing Pilaf come back to try and take over the world once again had me rolling.
